The compact fluorescent light bulb or lamp is a type of fluorescent lamp generally designed as a replacement for incandescent or halogen lamps. There are two major types of compact fluorescent lamp, screw-in and plug-in.

LED bulbs are most energy efficient. CFL bulbs are moderate energy efficient. Incandescent bulbs are least energy efficient. LEDs bulbs consume 3/4 less energy than incandescent bulb. LEDs also require much less energy to create the same amount of brightness as incandescent lights, and last much longer. You must know that CFL bulb are dim at first and take some time to warm up to full brightness. Once the electricity starts moving inside them, it use about 70% less energy than incandescent bulbs. So they’re not quite as efficient as LEDs, and they have a shorter lifespan. LEDs and CFL bulbs so much more efficient than incandescent bulbs because they consume less energy to create a certain amount of light.

3) Affordability
Cost of incandescent bulb is less than LED & CFL.
LED bulb cost is most, but in long run LED bulb is far economical than incandescent bulb & CFL bulbs because of less energy consumption electricity bill will be low.
